My journey with baking and going gluten-free hasn’t always been easy, but it’s led me to create something I’m truly proud of — welcome to Soar Bakery.
Baking has always been a part of my life. I started my first cupcake business back in high school, fueled by a love for sweets and a desire to share them with others. But everything changed when I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease — suddenly, I had to switch to a gluten-free diet, and I quickly realized how limited (and often disappointing) the options were.
Rather than give up the bakes I loved, I saw it as a new challenge. I began experimenting with gluten-free recipes, determined to create treats that didn’t feel like a compromise. While in college, I shifted my focus from cupcakes to cookies — the kind that are soft in the center, crisp on the edges, and full of flavor, with none of the gluten.
Now, I'm turning that passion into something bigger: a bakery dedicated to gluten-free cookies that everyone can enjoy.
